Girl Crush...
Kyle has "liked" (whatever that means) the same little girl for the last three years. She has never "liked" him back. Today was hat day at school. She was wearing a had that said, "I like dorks." Kyle told me about her hat and said, "I wish I were a dork."

Embrace the Snow
I think I better change my attitude about the snow. It doesn't look like it is going away anytime soon! It started to melt a little bit last week and I got excited. I could see my old dead flowers and was hoping they would start sprouting right before my eyes. It's not gonna happen anytime soon darn it! I really love being outside in my yard and playing outside with the kids. I'm not a wintery kind of girl. I love summer and can't wait for it to be here. I know, it is going to be a long wait so I should "embrace" the snow! I am going to try harder this week to find some ways to embrace that blessed cold white stuff outside!

NYC Plane Crash
I am sure you have all heard about the US Airways aiplane crash in NYC! It is interesting to talk to Chad about it and get his take on it. That is one AMAZING Pilot(S)! All 150 passengers should be very grateful to them! Crazy Stuff!

It looks like the people are walking on water. I had to do a double take to see that they are actually walking on the planes wing!

My New Favorite Quote
From Kung Fu Panda...
Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is a Mystery,
Today is a Gift that is why they call it the Present!
Hopefully I can treat each day as a gift this year!

Snowboarding at Sundance
Chad took Kyle snowboarding the Tuesday after Christmas. Chad rented a snowboard for the first time (he usually prefers skiing). Kyle did great and Chad didn't do too bad himself. They went with the Moore's and three of their kids including their darling little 5 year old daughter. They all had a great time. Kyle can't wait to go again. We are going to have to look into a seasson pass for next year!

Christmas 2008
We had a wonderful Christmas! On Christmas Eve we had all of my siblings and my mom over. We had Santa come and we ate a yummy homemade cafe rio dinner! On Christmas day we went over to Chad's parents had brunch, and opened presents. We came home to relax and then went back to Chad's parents for a yummy Christmas dinner. It was a very nice relaxing day. The boys were all really excited this year! We had a lot of fun!

Our Break From School
We had a lot of fun during our Christmas break from school. We went to a couple of dance recitals. We had birthday celebrations. We went sledding several times and went to classic roller skating. We loved the break and spending quality time with each other!
