Kids are so funny...

Warning...this may embarrass some men...

I was just sitting here at the computer and Spencer was in my bathroom. He yelled, "mom, can I use one of your bandaids." I yelled back, "sure". So, he came in with my back toward him and asked me to help him. I turned around and he had one of my panty liner pads on his finger ready to put on! Hee Hee! Where did he get that from?

More Thanksgiving Photos!

This is Avram at Calvin and Cathryn's house. The girls wouldn't let the boys play unless they put on dress up stuff...makeup etc. I think Avram escaped from getting any makeup on!

Kyle's class had a special Thanksgiving dinner at school. His teacher and a second grade teacher made them the whole meal from scratch. Jared's best friend was there!

This is long over due...

Here are some pictures from our various Thanksgiving get togethers. We had a great Thanksgiving this year. We were able see all of our families and extended families. It was a lot of fun! I have to give a big shout out to Calvin and Cathryn. They hosted Thanksgiving with Momma J and Ron this year and did a great job. Their house is so beautiful and I was so impressed they had a place for everyone to sit and eat. How am I gonna live up to that? JK I have so much to be thankful for...most of all family! We love you all and hope you know how much you mean to us!

We had a lot of fun decorating gingerbread houses at our Prestwich Family Party

You should all wish for this...

My cousin Rebecca had a picture of this lipgloss on her blog for her Christmas wishlist. A few months ago my darling niece Jasmine left some of this lipgloss at my house. Needless to say she didn't get it back. I am now addicted to lipgloss. Especially this lipgloss. You should all put this on your Christmas wishlist!!! It's just a little bit of heaven on your lips! You can get it at Victoria Secrets!

Sorry that I am not computer savvy enough to put the link. Could that be our next lesson Rebecca?

If wishes were fishes!

I love jewelry! Unfortunately, I haven't ever been able to wear earrings because my ears are too sensitive. So, I have been searching for some nickle free earrings. Here are a pair that I like. If wishes were fishes!

Halloween is my favorite Holiday

It is official! I LOVE HALLOWEEN! It is my very favorite holiday...here are the top ten reasons why I love Halloween!
#10-Pumpkin Carving! Almost every year I love to carve pumpkins! We didn't have a great experience this year. Landon accidentally sliced Chad's finger. It was all Landon's fault...it was all Landon's fault...it was all Landon's fault.
#9-Dressing up! I love to dress up on Halloween! It helps me come out of my shell a bit!
#8-Pumpkin Shaped Pizza's-for some reason, pizza always tastes better when it is shaped like a little pumpkin!
#7-Cousins-We get to see cousins on Halloween. Cloe comes to trunk or treat with us and then we head over to Grandma's and trick or treat with Chad's brother kids!
#6-Class Parties! I went to all of my kids' Halloween party this year! I made slime for all three classes! They all loved it!
#5-No Gifts! Halloween is the only "big" holiday that you don't have to give someone a gift! I am a terrible gift giver!
#4-Trick or Treating-I love to answer the door and see all of the kids in their costumes!
#3-Excitement all day long!
#2-Memories! I have some great memories of Halloween when I was little!
#1-Candy! Everyone knows I am candy freak especially chocolate. I love knocking on random doors of people I don't know and seeing what candy they are giving away! I think it tells a lot about a person!

Landon:Red Power Ranger. Jared: Ninja. Kyle: Goul at school, and motorcycle guy trick or treating! Spencer: Knight
We took a very cool train ride! Thanks Konnie!
Spencer at the preschool party!
We'll never forget this pumpkin carving year!

Tricky Tooth Fairy...

The tooth fairy didn't leave any treats...just tricks! I noticed the tooth fairy was tricky at one of my friend's house. She was pretty tricky at our house too!

Super Saturday

Yeah! I did it! Super Saturday is over! I am pretty sure it was a huge success. I really need to be writing thank you cards because I had a lot of help. I would love to post pictures of everything I made, but I am giving a lot of them away for Christmas gifts, so I can't show them yet. It is very hard not to though! Here are some Hair Bows that I made for my friend that had a baby girl. I am going to her blessing tomorrow and I am so excited to give them to her! My dear sweet mother loves me so! She picked all of the grapes for me. I kept whining to her about how lovely my neighbors grapes were and how I wished I had a place to plant them. She had a neighbor offer her grapes and she picked them for me. Tera is the nicest and she drove them to me. Don't worry, I shared the love. I'm gonna give them each a quart...okay maybe two! JK!

Princess Beads

My sister in law Lisa started making jewelry after Gabe passed away as a form of therapy. She started out just making a few pieces for herself, and then decided to sell some of it. It is so beautiful! You should all take a look at her jewelry site. It is a little bit of fun! Go to princessbeads.blogspot.com

Just another day in paradise

We had had enough of the kids screaming, phone ringing, dog barking and the bills piling up. It was time to rejuvenate! Chad and I headed out to the LA area for "UEA/Fall Break". I have to thank my sister Tera for watching our kids. Grandma and Grandpa and Calvin and Cathryn had them one night, but Tera took on most of it herself! She is so nice! We went with some friends of ours that we met when Chad first started flying. He flew Steve around in his corporate airplane. We stayed in San Clemente at the most gorgeous house (Steve has real estate connections). We didn't do much of anything, but eat at nice restaurants and look at real estate. I wish I would have taken more pictures of our food! But, we had nice relaxing time.
This was the entrance to the place that we stayed at!
This was the kitchen! It was so gorgeous! I just wanted to cook something in it!
This was the patio that had a view of the ocean! So beautiful!
We watched the sun set as we waited on the peer to eat dinner!
We were able to see our friend Randall's brother "Digger". He took Chad on his boat! Once again Chad was in Heaven!
Steve and Chad! Steve's nick name (from me) is the Silver Spoon Boy!
Walking on the beach in bare feet is the best feeling in the whole world!
Rebecca and I waiting to have "brunch". I loved watching the surfers! Kyle would have died so see them!

Jared lost his first tooth

Jared lost his first tooth at school last week (he actually lost his second today, but we didn't take pics). He literally lost it. He says he swallowed it, I think he lost it. But, he was very happy about it and wanted me to take a million pictures of the empty little space in his mouth! Isn't blogging great? It is more for my benefit than yours! This will help me remember everything! Hmmm.."mom, when did I loose my first tooth?" "Oh...lets look at the blog and figure that out!"

Jared's Field Trip to Hee Haw Farms

I have been so lucky this year. I have been able to make it on all of the kids' field trips! Jared's first grade class went to Hee Haw Farms Pumpkin Patch! It was fun (not as much as cornbelly's but dont' tell him that). Hee Haws is just getting kinda old for me. Preschool, Kindergarten and First Graders all go there! Anyway, I enjoyed being with Jared! He is such a riot! I was lucky enough to get three other little boys from my ward in my group. I was so glad! We had a lot of fuN!

Jared on the bumpy slide!
Yeah for me, I got to watch/smell pigs loath in the mud...it was fun to see the little piglets nursing on their momma!
It took us forever and a day to find just the right pumpkin for 5 little boys! Who knew that all of the orange pumpkins would be taken (I wonder why) and we would be left with green ones! It took a lot of convincing to have them choose a pumpkin! We did get out of their with no tears! Hooray!
Jared is such a good poser for the camera. This was on the Hay ride!

Preschool Field Trip to Cornbelly's Pumpkin Patch

This year I took my preschool class to Cornbelly's pumpkin patch at Thanksgiving point! It was so fun! I didn't schedule enough time to do all of the fun things that they have there. I felt very lucky to have Landon and Spencer with me. This will be the last year to have them both in my class! Waaa! I will definately take my preschoolers back next year!

Spencer on the big huge Jumping thing! I don't know what it was, but it was fun!
Landon on the cow train that was pulled by a tractor!
Spencer on the Hay ride!
Landon going down one of their slides! So fun!
Before going into to CornBelly's!

Adam & Lisa's House

Adam & Lisa invited everyone to their house last Sunday. It was very nice! My Dad came and brought Grandma Prestwich! We were all very glad to have her there. We had a nice dinner and then watched some video of Baby Gabe! Adam and Lisa seem to be doing very well. Lisa is getting her strength back (although not 100% yet) and is amazing! She has some beautiful memorabilia of the baby.

All of the kids on the trampoline!
This is all of the Prestwich Grandchildren!
I had to snap this silly one of Joslyn!

Kyle's Field Trip

I was able to go with Kyle's fourth grade class to the Bean and Earth Science Museum at BYU! We had a lot of fun together!

Don't they look alike?
No monkeys at this museum just crazy kids!
