Candy Freak

So, I am a bit of a candy FREAK! My cousin Rebecca just posted about the Dark Chocolate Reeses that is coming out! I immediately thought about how I want to go out and buy a whole drawer full. Then that led me to think about my Grandma Van Wagoner. Bless her heart. I stayed with her a lot when I was younger. Especially summers. There are so many things I love about her, but one thing that I love the most is that she is a Candy Freak. She goes through phases on different candy that she loves. When she goes through these phases, she buys enough to fill a whole drawer. For some reason I remember her drawers full of Big Hunks and Boston Baked Beans. I wish I lived near her now, because her current obsession is Lind Truffles. I am gonna go buy me a whole drawer full of these Reeses when they come out! Are you a candy freak? If so, I would recommend reading the Candy Freak book above.

Cabin Fever...

After church on Sunday we went to my family's cabin near Park City! It is so fun because you have to take snowmobile's to get to it! Jasmine and Jessica went with us and were a blast to be with! We had a great time Sledding all day Monday. The sledding hill is about a half mile long and the snowmobile's come and take us back up. I love to sled like that when I don't have to walk back up the hill!
Thanks Marjean and Jerry for letting us invite ourselves and showing us a great time!

Valentine's Day...

We took the kids to the Lehi Legacy center on Valentines day and took them swimming. We forgot our camera! But we had a great time. Afterwards we got some pizza and watched Madagascar 2 as a family. It was a perfect Valentines day! I love spending time with my family!

Jasmine got a dozen roses sent to her at school. Her note said, "from your two favorite secret admirere's" Hmmm...wonder who it could be???
Jasmine made sugar cookies for me. She made a really big one and gave it away. Hmmm....

Calvin and Cathryn's New Baby BOY!!!

My brother Calvin's wife had their baby boy! We are so excited for them to be the first of our siblings to break the gender trend! They named him Jace Stanford Prestwich. He only weighed 6 lbs 12 oz and was 18 inches long. Looks like his older sisters may be taller than him when they grow up! Hee hee! He is sooooo darling! It was so fun to hold him and smell him! These pictures were taken at the hospital.

Jace Stanford Prestwich!
Jasmine and Jace! I can't tell you how excited Jasmine was to meet him!
Proud Tired Momma!
Calvin was so tired when we went to the hospital. He couldn't keep his eyes open, plus he was sick! What a good daddy!
