The funeral
Doogie's funeral was on Monday. Chad had to speak. I can't think of anything more hard than speaking at one of your friends funerals. Chad did an awesome job! I am so proud of him. He is an unbelievable friend. He is amazing at keeping in contact with his friends that are scattered all over the country. I know he would do anything for us and I know he would do anything for his friends! I know why I love him!

Chad is on his way home...
Chad is on his way home. Doogie suffered a massive stroke during the night and will not be able to recover. His children are flying there tonight to say goodbye to their daddy and then they will take him off of life support. Please pray for Valerie and give your husbands a hug.

Please Pray for our friend....
Chad's good friend was in a terrible accident last week. Chad taught him how to fly and helped him get a job with SkyWest. The doctors say that Doogie is paralyzed. We are praying that he can prove them wrong! He has a lovely wife and three little kids. Please pray for their Daddy and our friend! You can find his story at captaingordonhyde.blogspot.com

This picture was taken about 5 years ago. Doogie took Kyle and Chad ice fishing.

The End is Near
The end of this school year is quickly approaching. It feels like I have a hundred programs to go to. The first two were today. Kyle's class did a fourth grade program about Utah. He had a speaking part and sang several songs about Utah! He did a fantastic job! Today was our last day of preschool and Landon and Spencer performed in our little graduation tonight! Luckily, they both did great! Phew

I love this girl!
I love this girl! She is smart, talented, funny, gorgeous, a good listener, patient, helpful and most of all she brings out something in me that I haven't seen in a long time!

Last week in Jasmine's teen living class they had a mock wedding. She was a bridesmaide. She and some friends bought matching dresses. The bride chose blue and white for her colors (what's up with that). They all wanted to have their hair curly (again...what?...I always wanna get rid of my curls). I didn't know how to help her hair get curly. I don't have hot rollers or sponge curlers. So, we rolled it. We called it the corn holleeooo's! She got extra credit if she decorated a cake. I thought it turned out really cute! She's even cuter! She'll be getting "pregnant" this week and having a baby. What is up with this class? She ABSOLUTELY loves it and loves her teacher!
