Kyle's 8th grade completion
The Jr High did some weird 8th grade completion ceremony. They didn't call it graduation, but wanted the kids to know it was important to know that they completed all the requirements to start HS. I will be honest and say I thought it was a complete waste of time. But got some cute pictures of Kyle and his friends! In the top picture is Shelby his crush from Elementary School. I tease him about her, cause I think she is Adorable and I wish he still had a crush on her! He is next to a girl in the bottom picture named Maren. She is adorable too, they are in band together and just friends!
Last few days of school fun
I love the last two weeks of school. The kids are always involved in fun school activities. Landon's class did plays. Our school has a dance festival each year. Each grade level does a dance together. I used to dread it, but now I love watching all of the kids and their friends! This year Spencer did a popular song called Gangam Style. Only they called it Central style for the name of our school. Landon's third grade did Footloose. Jared's 5th grade did a cool dance with PVC pipes to the tune if we will rock you. I loved them all!
My favorite pots and my new front door
Every year for Mother's Day my mom puts flowers in my pots. I love the way she does them. I wish I had her talent. This year after Mother's Day I discovered two big pots. So, I planted them myself. One I did as a shade pot with coleus and potato vines for my back deck. The other I did with some herbs. I was so excited to find Stevia! It also has, basil, oregano, and sage...love them. We also got a new front door. It is fiber glass stained to look like wood. Chad spent a long time painting it. I love it!
This one is one of the ones mamma made

The Luckiest Boy
I am behind a few weeks on my posts! My home computer is a big piece of crap and won't load pictures. So, I am gonna do this from my phone. Spencer got to go to Disneyland with Chad last Thursday. Our friend Randall called and asked Chad if he wanted to go because he could get them in for free. Chad took him up on it! All of us were really jealous of Spencer and Chad. The day after Disneyland they got to go to Julianne's house and swim in her pool and then go to the Dancing with the stars studio and take Derek a birthday cake. Our friend Sharee siblings are Derek and Julianne Hough. They have become famous through Dancing with the Stars reality TV show. Spencer had a blast at Disneyland with Julianne and thought it was so awesome seeing Derek practice before he won this year's season on dancing with the stars. Pretty Cool indeed!

Hope of America
Jared and most fifth graders in Utah Valley had the opportunity to perform in the Hope of America at BYU Marriott center. I was actually dreading the night and didn't think I would love the performance, but I actually really liked it.

Rewarding Week
This week ended up being very rewarding for me. For my new calling(I wonder how long I can say it is a new calling) in the Stake Young Women we have been planning a youth activity to walk to the Timpanogos temple from our stake center. We were so thankful that we had a good turn out and all of our planning worked out. I am also so thankful for my sister in law Lisa. I asked her the night before if she would be our end speaker and talk about the importance of temple covenants. She was so amazing. I hope to someday be as awesome as her!
Landon had a soccer game. His coach put him in as goalie for the first time. I was a nervous wreck. He did great of course! Jared had the fifth grade wax museum at school. He had to be Wilbur Wright who invented the first airplane. He had to come up with a little monologue. He also did great! We also FINALLY had Jared's friend birthday party. We had his friends come over for a late night on Friday and we played night games. It was a lot of fun!
