Random Pictures December 2015

Here are a lot of random pictures from December 2015. We haven't had family pictures taken for several years. We needed some taken for our Christmas card. We had Jamie take some after dinner one Sunday. Although the boys look super cute, the pictures turned out just a little too dark. After Grandma Prestwich passed away, by aunts invited us up to see if we wanted anything in her house that hadn't been claimed. I took her two blue chairs that had been in her "white" room for as long as I could remember. They are in perfect condition and I have loved having them in my piano room. We love to have Adams family over for visits. I can't remember exactly why they decided to duct tape Jared, but he must have been picking on someone. It was pretty funny to see him all duct taped up. Kyle completed his Eagle project, and had his Eagle Board of Review. He is such a cute scout and we are so proud of him for finishing strong. Spencer was in a little class play and was a proud pilot. We started a new tradition of Chad cooking a Japanese Christmas dinner. The boys loved it! We went sledding up to by Kiwanis park. Landon made an awesome "batarang" with his favorite leader Mike Ritchie. Kyle got a handsome haircut. It's my favorite haircut he has every had. We spent New Years at Adams house and had an omlet bar. We also went sledding with them and it was a blast. Baby Mia was born. My boys were absolutely enthralled with her. They couldn't get enough of her sweetness. I loved seeing how much they loved holding a sweet innocent little baby. We went to a Hockey Game with the Wise family. It was a lot of fun to sit in a Suit and order yummy junk food. I made a super cute "cupcake" sock thing for the YW birthdays. We had a fun time messing around with Steve and Jamie's kids on Christmas day at Grandma and Grandpa Slocum's. They sure have cute kids and we are thankful for them!

Kyle Wrestling December 2015

Wrestling has been a part of our family for most of Kyle's life. He started wrestling at 5, and Chad started coaching High School wrestling about the same time. Kyle took a break from wrestling in Jr. High, but started again as a sophomore. Wrestling is a lot personal pressure, and we really feel like he learned a lot about himself through wrestling. He seemed to love being a part of a team and tried his personal best. My sweet little niece Ila went with me to one wrestling tournament and sat there like a trooper all day. She is my little light!

Central Elementary Student Council Food Drive

Landon is on student council in 6th grade. I've been so proud of him because he is the only boy, and sometimes the girls leave him out, but he has worked hard and still tried his best on the student council. They had amazing results for the canned food drive. Lisa Young and I help the kids load the food into our trucks and we could barely fit all of the food, there was so much! It was a lot of work, but so worth it once we delivered it to the food pantry. We took the kids to Swig afterwards for a little treat for all of the their efforts and hard work.
