Not so much going on...

Lucky the Leprachaun always comes and plays tricks on us. He usually ties the kids  doors shut, pee's green in the toilet and leaves lucky charms and gold. He always destroys the play room for the preschoolers too and leaves them gold. What Lucky Kids!
We went to a really cool park in Saratoga Springs. It had this gigantic pyramid. Kids loved climbing it.  I am glad the don't have fears like I do.
We took Joslyn, and Jared's friend Bailey and Landon's friend Carter. Jared was snowboarding and Kyle was at a Jazz Festival all day.
Life is pretty Good!

Several Make Overs

have really been in the mood to re-decorate. I found this little end table at DI for $10. Cathryn helped me sand and paint it. It works quite nicely next to our couches.

I also won an ugly vase at Tera's white elephant Christmas party. I wish I would have taken a picture of it. It had hideous flowers all over it.  I spray painted it and put a ribbon and flower on it. Simple and cute.

Preschool

This is my last year of teaching preschool. This is my 10th year and I have Loved it, but I am ready to see what else life has in store for me. I have had a dear friends children in almost all of my classes. She has seven children and I will have had all of them but her baby. Her name is Josie Platts. She is the most kind and giving person I have ever met. Last week she organized a surprise teacher appreciation. She decorated my porch with an Oscar theme. Red carpet and all. The kids wrote notes, wore my favorite color and brought all kids of yummy treats!

Bow and Arrow Shooting

Landon finally got his Bow and Arrows. We had a great time figuring it out. We went to the local farm store and bought a bale of hay and then went to the park to practice.

Landon's 10th birthday.

Landon is such a joy to our family. I don't know if I could have said that last year. He makes us laugh and is sensitive especially to my feelings. He is the most organized even to the point of a little OCD. He likes his Legos and his stuffed animals in a special way. Sharing a room with Spencer drives him crazy because Spencer is so messy. Landon always helps Spencer organize and I appreciate it so much. He often wakes up early to do his jobs and homework before school, so that we don't have to worry about it after school. He has grown and matured so much this last year. I am so proud of him!   For his birthday he wanted an IPod Nano. They are quite expensive, so that us all that he got. We have a tradition to have a Texas donut for breakfast with the special birthday cup. The kids get to choose where they want to go for birthday dinner. He chose Golden Corral. We also replaced his bow and arrow set that he had gotten For Christmas and it didnt work. He chose $50 instead if having a friend party. Although he did have a few friends over for a late night. I totally love my Landon!

Can't believe he used to be this tiny...

And now he's 10...

Cousins

Last weekend Landon went to my brother Adam's house to hang out with Avram and we had their son Brigham come to our house. He and Spencer love to play outside together. I took them to trafalga and they had a blast together!

Jared's science fair

I don't hate the science fair, but I don't love it either. Our school makes the kids do one in 5th and 6th grade. It's torture on parents.  This year Jared used Kyle's 6th grade project. We've saved it and I am sure that Landon will use it to. Haha. (Evil laughing).
He found a new way to demonstrate it and had a huge crowd around him. It was fun.
Jared loves his teacher Mr. Kowallis. He pushes them pretty hard and makes them step outside their comfort zone. He makes them sing and dance in front of the whole class. It's been a roller coaster of emotions. He also gives them some fun rewards. Last week he took the whole class to the Olive Garden. He made them all dress up and had several lessons on manners a head of time. I helped drive. It was a good time!
