We had had enough of the kids screaming, phone ringing, dog barking and the bills piling up. It was time to rejuvenate! Chad and I headed out to the LA area for "UEA/Fall Break". I have to thank my sister Tera for watching our kids. Grandma and Grandpa and Calvin and Cathryn had them one night, but Tera took on most of it herself! She is so nice! We went with some friends of ours that we met when Chad first started flying. He flew Steve around in his corporate airplane. We stayed in San Clemente at the most gorgeous house (Steve has real estate connections). We didn't do much of anything, but eat at nice restaurants and look at real estate. I wish I would have taken more pictures of our food! But, we had nice relaxing time.

Walking on the beach in bare feet is the best feeling in the whole world!

I am soo jealous! What a fun trip! I want that kitchen. We don't have any type of UEA break here. Sad. Tell Jared congrats on his first lost tooth! Yes, I did know Reggie was moving. They moved to Provo.

It looks like you have had a lot of fun at the pumpkin patches this year. Your lucky there is more than one in the area so you can have some variety.

How fun Nicholle! I am so glad you were able to get away and it looked so beautiful and warm! Lucky you!!!! Congrats on Jared losing his first tooth, Brooklyn swallowed one of hers one time also. Fun story to tell.
I agree....barefoot in the sand is the BEST. So is a weekend away ALONE!!
I love the San Clemente area. I lived in Mission Viejo during my youth and spend my summers baking in the sun on the beaches around San Clemente and San Juan Capastrano. Hence the nickname "Cancer Kellie" fondly bestowed on me by my loving brother.
