So, I am a bit of a candy FREAK! My cousin Rebecca just posted about the Dark Chocolate Reeses that is coming out! I immediately thought about how I want to go out and buy a whole drawer full. Then that led me to think about my Grandma Van Wagoner. Bless her heart. I stayed with her a lot when I was younger. Especially summers. There are so many things I love about her, but one thing that I love the most is that she is a Candy Freak. She goes through phases on different candy that she loves. When she goes through these phases, she buys enough to fill a whole drawer. For some reason I remember her drawers full of Big Hunks and Boston Baked Beans. I wish I lived near her now, because her current obsession is Lind Truffles. I am gonna go buy me a whole drawer full of these Reeses when they come out! Are you a candy freak? If so, I would recommend reading the Candy Freak book above.

AHHHH what a great post! I too am a candy freak. I have to say it came from my Grandma Eagar. Remember her? She lived in Hurricane. She also had STASHES of candy everywhere. Though I don't think I will be a fan of the new reeses... not a dark chocolate lover! But I do think I need to read the book!
Long live candy freaks!
Anything with peanut butter and chocolate, I'm crazy about!
I wish I could limit myself with chocolate and peanut butter but I like anything with sugar
I am a sugar, carb, candy freak. I am super excited about the Dark Chocolate PB cups. I heart dark chocolate. My current obsession are Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate covered almonds. Divine!
What a "SWEET" tribute to Grandma Maxine! I remember cleaning out her cupboards and coming across OLD candy bars. Thanks for this post.
I love any chocolate, peanut butter and caramel. Do you remember chocolate coated bananas?
The more I learn about you, the more I like you. A candy drawer. I have been hiding candy in my underwear drawer (my Dad did it while I was growing up) for as long as I can remember. Move over undies. I'm filling that drawer with mint 3 musketeers and almond joys.
I read it and it was so fun, I drooled on a few of the pages. And, What? Grandma loves candy?
