Proud Mom!
This last week was tryouts for the school Talent Show. Each of the boys wanted to do something in front of their class. Spencer played Peter, Peter, Pumkin Eater on the Piano, Landon played Yankee Doodle on the piano. Jared did a stand up comedy act from Bryan Regan(which is Hilarious and if you see Jared you should ask him to do it for you) and Kyle road his Unicycle to the music, "I can ride my bike with no Handlebars". I was not able to go see Kyle or Jared, because I was teaching at the time. But, I did see Landon and Spencer and they did great! I don't know if they will be picked for the school wide talent show, but I am so proud of them for participating if front of their Grade Levels! I would have NEVER Dared do anything like that (yip, I was toooo shy). I am so glad that the have the confidence to try!

My other baby turned 11
Kyle turned 11 on July 8th. We were in Island Park for his birthday. We had a great time, and had a lot of people over to our cabin to Celebrate. Kyle is such a light in my life. He does anything I ask, and never complains. He is my nice sensitive peacemaker and yet my biggest daredevil! He is a natural at extreme sports and loves doing them more than anything else. He always wants to be doing something fun and exciting, which in turn helps me to get out of the house and not be a home body! He received his arrow of light and is now an official boy scout! I am so proud of him!

Kyle as a wee little babe! It sure doesn't seem like 11 years since he was that tiny

Ky and his awesome "extreme" cake that Grandma Julie made him

Kyle was determined to learn how to slolom ski this year! He got up on his first try and loves it!

Kyle is a lot of fun to watch on the wake board. He is even catching a little air this year!

He loved snorkeling at Lake Powell

Ky is such a nice big brother!

He rode his motorcycle a lot in Island Park, but preferred to ride Aunt Kelly's 250 Four wheeler!

My Baby turned 5!
I can't believe my baby turned 5! It has been very bittersweet for me. It is so nice not having a baby, but oh how I want Spencer to stay little like this forever. He is the sweetest little thing. He still lets me call him baby cakes, and have a good snuggle at night. He still wants me to play farm with him...he gets to be farmer Joe and I get to be farmer Fred. But, he is doing so many big boy things. He is riding a four wheeler all by himself, and he is knee boarding behind the boat. He doesn't call out for me everything is goes to the bathroom and he even stays in his own bed most nights...boo-hoo!

St. George Trip
On the last day of school the kids played hookie and we headed down to St. George to see Paul and Dianne Trammell. Oh how we love the Trammell's. They having always been another set of parents to us, and even to Chad before we were married. The kids call them Grandma and Grandpa and we love them like our own parents. They are such loving people! I hope I can be just like them when I grow up!
This is an amazing picture. Dianne really wanted to climb the big rock that over looks St. George. Paul has MS and doesn't get around very well. I can't believe he actually climbed up the rock! This picture is worth a thousand words!

All of us except Chad (he was takin the pic)

This was taken in Snow Canyon. The weather was beautiful and not too hot, but we found this cool shady spot for a little rest!

The boys loved climbing all over! They were not afraid at all!

My cutest baby!

This was one way to the top. Not the way I took. I couldn't even watch the boys do it!

Landon's Kindergarten Graduation

I love this one of Landon and his friends...Nephi, Kelsey, Ivy and Maddi. Most of Landon's friends are girls!

Proud to be graduating

Getting his diploma

After the dance recital. I made him a candy bar bouquet! Most girls get flowers, I didn't think he would like them as much as candy!

For the last year, I think about food storage daily. I know that it is so important, but it overwhelms me, so I don't do it! I don't know where to start and that overwhelm's me. How could I possibly get enough food for my family to eat for two years, I can barely make it for a week! I decided to google food storage and came across this blog. dealstomeals.blogspot.com
Great blog, and they have a give away for a bosch mixer! A.W.E.S.O.M.E Totally!
